Last night, we had the absolute pleasure of attending the Celebrate North Carolina event in downtown Raleigh, and wow—what a night! It was an honor to meet Governor Josh Stein and Attorney General Jeff Jackson, both of whom were incredibly personable and approachable. They truly embody the warmth and friendliness that make North Carolina so special.
The evening was filled with delicious local food and drinks, showcasing some of the best flavors our state has to offer. But what stood out the most was the sense of community. We connected with so many happy Raleigh locals, all coming together for a good cause—to raise much-needed funds for hurricane disaster relief in Western North Carolina.
It was a beautiful reminder of just how extraordinary North Carolina is. From the mountains to the coast, and everything in between, this state is overflowing with heart, resilience, and connection. There’s nowhere else in the U.S. I’d choose to call home. 💙
To everyone who came out to support the cause—thank you for making North Carolina even more remarkable! 🌟
As we work together to help our own state, may we keep in our hearts, thoughts, and goodwill those in LA and California who are experiencing unbelievable heartache and loss at the hands of Mother Nature.

Sen Nail Spa - new in Wake Forest is a more luxurious salon experience I had a fantastic pedicure and manicure with beautiful nail to match my beautiful ball gown that I can no longer attend!! The owners have a beautiful story and mission too which we'll share in a post next week.
The chocolates we had last night at the Celebrate NC event were absolutely delicious from local caterer Mitchell Casteel.

All Inauguration celebrations for the weekend have been cancelled due to the (state of emergency) incoming winter storms. The new date is now April 5, (which is the same day as Dreamville. (gonna e a big day in the city.)
