Weekly Wrap: The Aussie Doughbreaker, WRAL Gardens, Taco Bus, Pine State and more

Let the Aussie-American flavor fusion begin!

Hi Raleigh Lover!

We’re feeling stoked because today’s the day our Goodberry’s creation, The Aussie Doughbreaker, officially launches—along with the limited-edition Violet Crumble topping!

What a joy it’s been to represent our beloved home country of Australia in a treat that also celebrates our equally beloved adopted home here in the USA. We honestly had no idea Goodberry’s had locations in Australia—how cool is it that a Raleigh-founded company has made it Down Under? We’re thrilled Goodberry’s asked us to be part of it.

We had so much fun filming the video for this—throwing in a few Aussie slang words for good measure. It felt so good to speak “normal” again… even if you might need subtitles (kidding… mostly). Don’t worry, we kept it simple for you!

If you try the Violet Crumble topping on its own, or go all in with the Aussie Doughbreaker concrete, we’d love to hear what you think. Snap a pic, tag us, and let us know how it tastes. We’re betting it’ll be crikey good.

Available until May 4, or until it’s all gone! See more in our video

Cheers,
Caroline

P.S. A Violet Crumble is crunchy honeycomb toffee coated in chocolate. I was surprised at how delicious it tasted with the frozen custard. I recommend they do Tim Tams next! Yum. But definitely NOT vegemite.
