Sixty Vines

Hi {{ first name | Raleigh Lover}}!

Hello from New York! I’m packing up and getting ready to fly home today after three fun, full days at a travel industry event. Think lots of talking, creative brainstorming, big laughs with old friends, and the joy of making new ones. I feel incredibly grateful to be surrounded by such thoughtful, inspiring people. This industry really is something special.

One comment I heard again and again (aside from *“OMG I love your new hair” — honestly, same 😄) was: You’ve made me really want to come to Raleigh! It looks so fun!”

That never gets old. Our hope is always that the love and passion we share for this city — its lifestyle, its people, its everyday magic — helps bring a few more visitors (and tourism dollars) to support our local businesses and community.

Other recurring conversations? The rise of wellness travel — people craving ways to disconnect so they can truly reconnect and revitalize body, soul, and spirit — and yes, the looming presence of AI.

But here’s the part we all agreed on: AI can’t replace authenticity. It can’t replicate real stories, lived experiences, or genuine connection. And that made me feel even more grounded in why we do what we do.

I hope the realness and heart behind This Is Raleigh helps you feel connected to us, and to this incredible city we get to call home. I can’t wait to be back and keep sharing it with you.

Be sure to stay safe this weekend with Icemaggedon on its way. Our daughter is thrilled that probable days off school are on the way!

A quick reminder 🤍

Earlier this week, I shared about the 30-Day Abundance Reset I’m guiding, beginning February 1.

Doors are now open, and joining sooner gives you time to move through the foundational work — especially the principles of co-creation — before we begin together as a community challenge.

If it’s not for you, no worries at all. I simply wanted to close the loop for anyone who felt a quiet yes.
