Hi {{ first name | Raleigh Lover}}!

We’re back from Belize — feeling both refreshed and a little heartbroken to have left such a magical country. From snorkeling with turtles and swimming with sharks, to picnicking beside hidden waterfalls and exploring ancient Maya ruins, it was a dream trip packed with unforgettable moments. The food? Absolutely divine. A Maya chef’s table experience has officially launched Maya cuisine into my top five in the world! See all our experiences on @ytravelblog

Belize brought back all the nostalgic feels of my carefree backpacking days through Southeast Asia and has definitely sparked a desire to explore more of Central America.

Now we’re back in Raleigh — happy to be home, but deep in catch-up mode as we also prepare for our daughter’s way-too-soon move to Wilmington for her next chapter at UNCW (cue all the emotions!).

That means we haven’t been out and about in Raleigh much lately, so our new discoveries may be a little quiet over the next couple of weeks. But as always, we’ve got a treasure trove of tips, guides, and ideas for enjoying life in Raleigh over on the blog. Dive in anytime for your local fix!

💖 FAVORITE FINDS

  • The steak harissa bowl at Cava. And big enough for me to enjoy leftovers today - yay!

  • Frankie’s Fun Park - We had a fun few hours at Raleigh’s small theme park racing around the track, riding some roller coasters and playing arcade games. More content to come soon

  • Leith’s Autopark Honda were great this week in helping us find a car for our eldest as she goes to college. We were impressed with their service and how easily they found the right car. It felt like an aligned day. They’re also the second biggest Honda dealership on the East Coast #funfact

  • Goodberry’s! I don’t really eat ice cream, but I can’t say no to Goodberry’s frozen custard. My go to - chocolate with either banana or raspberries.
