Last week, the festive season really kicked off in Raleigh with lots of holiday events. We thoroughly enjoyed the tree lighting in Downtown Cary Park. Downtown Cary really has a magical holiday vibe, so much, that it was named 13th cutest Christmas town in the Southeast. Their holiday light displays around downtown are so pretty.

So, keep that in mind as you move around Wake County this week as a possible exciting thing to do - if this rainy weather disappears!

This week in Raleigh continues with more holiday events, parades, markets, tree lightings, and holiday open houses for the State Capitol and the Governor's Mansion. We’re excited to check some of these off our holiday bucket list as well as attend our friend’s annual Christmas party. Ugly Sweaters at the ready!
