Week Events: Inauguration Celebrations, Neil Diamond, Home Show, Holly Jolly Prom

What a wet and cold week we have in store for us! Did you experience sleet yesterday? We did. Some I think may have gotten flurries. It’s been awhile since we’ve had snow so fingers crossed 2025 brings a dump.

I am happy everyone is now rolling up the sleeves and getting back to working on creating an awesome year. We're headed into the quietest months of the year in Raleigh as most people choose hibernation over exploration.

We encourage you to break free from that cabin fever and get out of the house. We have ideas each week in this event guide, we also have a new event calendar, and ideas on things to do in the winter in Raleigh.

However this week is really exciting as its the Inauguration Ceremony for the new Governor Josh Stein and the Council of State. There are several events happening including a big block party on Fayetteville St. We'll be attending all the events and cannot wait! I have my ball gown ready - hair and nails this week!
