Happy Martin Luther King Jnr. Day! May we remember to honor his legacy always and continue to work for diversity and inclusion for all!.

You know this week will be quiet in Raleigh with the incoming Arctic temperatures! I’ll be lucky if I step a toe outside. I’ll be getting all my steps in today. Check any events you intend on attending in case of cancellations. As of now, it seems the precipitation will not arrive!

We’ve got over 70 ideas for this week in Raleigh including the African American cultural festival that kicks off Black History Month, a heartwarming chocolate gathering, and free tours or Mordecai House (only happens twice a year and worth experiencing!)
