Wow! What a great weekend we just had with so many fun events happening. We were busy bouncing around, judging food competitions, enjoying live music, meeting many followers, and catching up with friends. We’ll share more in our Friday wrap!
This week, more October fun continues with markets, live music, Halloween events, outdoor movies, dog events, the annual SAS golf championship, and the Canes season opener!
This week will be busy as we explore new restaurants and celebrate my 50th birthday!! I got here so fast!

🚶♀️➡️ Partner Spotlight: 37th Annual Thad & Alice Eure Walk for Hope Walk & Festival
Support family, friends, and community members living with a mental illness with a beautiful community 5K walk through Umstead State Park. Afterward, enjoy a family-friendly festival with amazing food, music, a petting zoo, games, and prizes! 100% of the money raised by participants directly funds local mental illness research at the UNC-Chapel Hill Department of Psychiatry.
Where: Angus Barn (9401 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27617)
When: Sunday, October 12, 2025: 9am – 2pm
Cost:
Adults $70 (if registered by 9/22), $80 (if registered between 9/23-10/11), or $85 at the event
Youth 6-18 and full-time students $35 through 10/11 and $40 at the event
