Love is definitely the theme of this week and started with a powerful reminder at last night’s Superbowl. May we carry that light and energy through the week with our romantic partners, our children, parents, siblings, close friends, and strangers we meet on the street.
Valentine’s is kinda just about romantic love in Australia, so I LOVE how here in the US it’s more about love for all! We have some ideas this week for celebrating love, celebrating Black History Month and celebrating music, theater, and the arts!
I’m glad the Seahawks won - ahem Aussie on the team - but my heart is sore for Drake Maye. He’s so young, he was living his dream, and he got swallowed up in that gigantic spotlight. I know he’ll be paining today. I hope it makes him stronger.
Enjoy this week in Raleigh! Our eldest came home from college this past weekend and will be back this weekend - that’s the best Valentine’s gift for me!
