This Week in Raleigh: Let's Dig Deep to find the fun

Here we go! The challenge to find fun things to do in Raleigh during the winter! While we may be entering my least favorite period of the year, there are still many ways you can enjoy yourself and we’re determined to find those for you!

This is your last week to enjoy Illuminate Art Walk in Downtown Raleigh (ends Jan 6) and the Chinese Lantern Festival (ends Jan 11), but Skate the Square continues in Fenton. This may be a good time to see the Carolina Hurricanes play, although with the predicted warmer temps this week (hello 70 degrees on Wednesday), you may want to go for a hike or sit beside a lake and plan out your year!

This week, we're soaking up the last few days with our eldest before she goes back to UNCW, we're getting a new garage door installed, and I'm getting hair extensions, which my fine limp hair is excited about!
