Happy “The Kids are back in School day!”
Now it’s time to get back to routines and productivity and prepare for a fun FALL! Coming soon to a forest near you! We’re updating all our Fall content to help you make the most of our favorite season!
And with that, college football starts back this week, with the NC State team facing off their ECU pirates rival. Go Pack!
It will be a quieter weekend for events, as it is Labor Day weekend, but we have some Latin dance classes, the African American cultural festival, and the Mordecai House will have their free Friday tour (only offered twice a year!)

P.S. I know I am doing the wolfpack signal wrong in the photo. That’s a prime example of never knowing the full story, and how when you have to do something with time pressure, you don’t always activate your brain power and slip into unconscious motion. I had seconds to capture a photo with Wufy! And in that, I had to move my phone over to my other hand, which resulted in me giving Wufy a cuddle, which kinda threw him off-guard a little, and then I had to right up and move into position, my hands reaching up in a 1 second attempt to wolfpack it! I love the photo regardless and so unafraid to show the imperfection of it!
