Hi {{first_name}}
Spring really burst onto the scene this weekend 🌸—bringing that first taste of patio lunches, lakeside walks, outdoor yoga, blooming flowers… and yes, the full-force pollen invasion. 🤧 I hope you’re holding up okay! And of course, in true North Carolina fashion, we’re in for a little weather whiplash in the weeks ahead.
We had a sweet surprise visit from Kalyra home from UNCW, which meant a slower, low-key weekend soaking up time together. We did sneak in one standout outing—a patio lunch at Trophy Brewing on Maywood.
We’d only been once years ago and kind of overlooked it since (their gluten-free options were limited back then), but wow—that’s changed. The gluten-free pizzas are seriously good, the salt and pepper wings were a standout, and even the simple arugula salad felt fresh and just right. Safe to say that this might be my go-to patio hang this season.
Oh—and a little bonus for you: I’ve realized I’ve been collecting quite a few exclusive discounts for our This is Raleigh community, so I’m going to start including them at the bottom of each email. Easy to find, ready when you need them 🙌
Warmly,
Caroline
P.S. We have a best patio in Raleigh list - we have to add in Trophy!
