As some of you know, we had a unique opportunity to interview a very special visitor to Raleigh on our podcast, Kevin Rudd, former Prime Minister of Australia and now Australia’s Ambassador to the United States.
I do have to keep pinching myself that we actually chatted with the former PM of our country - our version of POTUS.
He was visiting Raleigh to help strengthen ties between NC and Australia - something we feel we’ve been doing for over a decade! We’re obviously biased about how great our two homes are!
We chatted about what makes NC attractive to Aussie businesses, his role as Ambassador, and of course, vegemite and drop bears.
It’s a fascinating and light-hearted conversation about diplomacy, people-to-people connections, and why Aussies and Americans have more in common than you think.
