Another big month in Raleigh celebrating all the fun of Fall is upon us. There are so many things happening in Raleigh this October 2025 to get excited about.
We have two of Raleigh’s biggest events for the year, there’s spooktacular fun for Halloween, the Carolina Hurricanes start playing hockey again, tailgating is in full swing, and we have festivals celebrating cultural diversity, wine, and music.
I just don’t know how I’m going to choose what to do and when!
Oh, and it’s also the month I turn 50! Feels like I just turned 40 AND I still feel 24 on the inside. It’s just a number!

🚶♀️➡️ Partner Spotlight: 37th Annual Thad & Alice Eure Walk for Hope Walk & Festival
Support family, friends, and community members living with a mental illness with a beautiful community 5K walk through Umstead State Park. Afterward, enjoy a family-friendly festival with amazing food, music, a petting zoo, games, and prizes! 100% of the money raised by participants directly funds local mental illness research at the UNC-Chapel Hill Department of Psychiatry.
Where: Angus Barn (9401 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27617)
When: Sunday, October 12, 2025: 9am – 2pm
Cost:
Adults $70 (if registered by 9/22), $80 (if registered between 9/23-10/11), or $85 at the event
Youth 6-18 and full-time students $35 through 10/11 and $40 at the event
